Upcoming Missions

2022-23 Dates Are HERE!

As the world has been affected by the COVID19 pandemic, so has GHR and the communities we work with in Guatemala and Vietnam. Our #1 priority has always been and will always be the safety of everyone involved in GHR medical mission trips.

All volunteers must show proof of updated COVID19 vaccine

Guatemala Medical Mission: November 9-12, 2022

GHR is returning to the highlands of Guatemala for a shortened 3-day trip before the Thanksgiving holiday, and what better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than by giving back to underserved communities?! This trip will consist of primary care and education, as we continue to implement our educational programs with local health liaisons. GHR volunteers will stay in the beautiful colonial town of Antigua, and will conduct three clinics which are held at villages in the beautiful highlands region of Guatemala (specific locations will not be disclosed for security reasons). These trips are ideal for pre-med/pre-healthcare students to expand your exposure and prepare for a career in healthcare. GHR is honored to partner with ALDEA, a local Guatemala NGO, which has offered community education and healthcare to indigenous Guatemalans for 55 years!

Vietnam Medical Mission: December 28, 2022 — January 5, 2023

Ring in the New Year in Vietnam! Volunteers will be immersed in the rich H’mong culture and even stay with local families. This trip is not for the faint of heart, but for the more adventure-minded volunteer. GHR volunteers can expect an authentic experience, staying with the most gracious H’mong hosts and be treated to traditional tasty cuisine while staying in a local homestay. Homestays are clean and safe, but facilities are not typical of those found in the USA. The team will conduct four days of clinics, treating patients with a wide variety of conditions and providing education on topics such as sanitation best practices, oral rehydration, therapeutic stretching, and dietary habits. These trips are perfect for pre-med students and other students looking to learn medicine, build character and push yourself to be a better you. Get ready for the trip of a lifetime!
